Often life’s difficulties resolve on their own or with the help of family and friends.  Sometimes, though, a confidential, professional perspective is needed.

Dr. Lisa C. Sacco is a clinical psychologist serving adolescents and adults in historic downtown Apex, NC. Clients come with concerns such as:

  • Anxiety and stress
  • Depression
  • Poor self-esteem
  • Relationship dissatisfaction
  • Communication difficulties
  • Grief and loss
  • Infertility
  • Parenting issues
  • Life adjustment issues
  • Childbirth preparation
  • Women's issues

Seeking help may be hard, but sometimes it’s the most important step you can take toward feeling better.

“Healing takes courage,
and we all have courage, even if we have to dig a little to find it.”

- Tori Amos, 1963 –

Dr. Sacco uses a variety of methods to assist clients depending on the problem and how the client views it.  Treatment strategies may be practical or esoteric, but always focus on improving client well-being.   Dr. Sacco believes that empathy, hope and humor are essential to promoting optimal mental health, and integrates them into therapy sessions.

Are you living well?  Are you satisfied in your work and your relationships?

If not, perhaps it’s time to envision the life you want and to live it.  If you’re tired of thinking that the ‘real you’ lies hidden beneath layers of doubt, it’s time to reach out.

“Your vision will become clear
only when you look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams;
who looks inside, awakes.

 - CG Jung, 1875 –1961
