• Jan 9, 2007 - Guest speaker at Borders Books, 1751 Walnut Street, Cary.   Entitled "Grounded for Life:  the Negative Effects of Helicopter Parenting," this Coffee Klatch will focus on tips for encouraging competence and confidence in kids and teens so that they soar.  A must attend workshop for well-intended parents who may be hovering too much. (Free and open to the public; no registration.)
